Film fanatics are spoiled for choice, with the famous Screen on the Green cinema showing the latest films in walking distance of Islington Green. Not far down the road you can find St Mary’s Church which provides breathtaking architecture with quiet gardens - the perfect spot for a read and lunch from one of Angel’s many cafes!

Balham is a lively district full of great bars and restaurants, independent shops and all your usual staples. The Exhibit event venue features a boutique cinema and provides a great way to spend your day while the Banana Cabaret comedy club is the perfect way to spend your evening. On top of that, Balham is also home to some of the best green spaces to take a walk in London with a host of great parks tucked behind the sleepy suburb houses.

One described as “up and coming”, it’s fair to say Brixton has now established itself as one of the best places to go in South London. The area still celebrates its Caribbean roots and there is music playing regularly across Brixton Market along with the intoxicating aromas of the street food, as well as the indoor village of Pop Brixton.
