What is there to do nearby?
Catch one of the brightly-painted yellow carriages down Lisbon’s narrow streets and you’ll discover a host of local treasures, from leafy plazas to flourishing flea markets. The wonderfully bohemian Old Town area has maintained much of its cultural heritage over the years and is buzzing with boutique bars, stylish street art and historical architecture. Figueira Square is equally full of life and home to the biggest market in Lisbon, restaurants, shops and an impressive bronze statue of King João I.
If you can tear yourself away from the thriving capital, cross the Tagus River to Almada on the other side and you’ll find Cristo Rei - a towering statue of Christ that's reminiscent of Rio de Janeiro’s illustrious Christ the Redeemer - with unrivalled vistas of Lisbon.
Further afield, the golden sands and crystal clear waters of Portugal’s beaches are bound to bring a smile to your face; Praia de Carcavelos beach is only a 30-minute train ride away! HF Fenix Garden Hotel - Fab hotel in a good location Fab hotel in a fab location. Walking distance from most local attractions. Hop on hop off bus is opposite hotel. Good service. I was early, and they checked me in straight away. Asked for an iron, and when I came back to the room, was there. Room was clean and comfortable.

HF Fenix Garden Hotel - Perfect location Perfect for a weekend break, great location for all transport links, metro across the road and each journey is €1.83, the bus stops and the sightseeing buses are located around the hotel. Would recommend just using the metro and get off at each stop to explore! Hotel is clean and staff are friendly, can access the two hotels next door each has a lobby bar and the fenix garden a roof top. Visited both, also used room service which was t expensive. Shower gel and tea and coffee in the room, two bottles of water on arrival.

Turim Alameda Hotel - My Lisbon city break I stopped at this hotel 24-28th February with my son. The room was very good and breakfast was very good with a a good choice of food. On our first full day we had been out most of the day so went back to hotel for a bit of a rest. As we were resting we had a knock at the door, it was a member of staff with a couple of cakes and a bottle of wine, I looked at him thinking he may have got the wrong room when suddenly he said Happy birthday. What a lovely thought. Thank you to everyone at the hotel 10/10👍

Turim Alameda Hotel - Travel to Lisbon I have scored four because the hotel itself is right very clean but something simple for four stars only serve breakfasts what would stand out most would be the friendliness of the staff in general and the location .the well connected area of all transport and walking there is everything and the center walking in 30' you arrive in general ideal everything and perfect area to see things
