(Radisson Blu 1919 Hotel) The location is perfect in the town centre. Moreover, the hotel is close to bus links. It is only a two-minute walk from the bus stop. Consequently, Bus Stop 3 picks up passengers first. There was a slight noise from music, but it did not impact my stay. Furthermore, the internet speed was fast and ideal for streaming. The TV offered several English channels, such as BBC News, ITV1, ITV2, ITV3, and Channel 4. The bed ranks among the most comfortable I have experienced. I stayed on the fourth floor, and the lift operated quickly. In addition, the staff were friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, my room was not ready because I arrived two hours early; however, I could leave my luggage safely. The hotel is a one-minute walk from a 24/7 local shop. Moreover, Rainbow Street is just a five-minute walk away, offering excellent shops and restaurants. The shower provided hot water consistently, and the bathroom was spacious. The room was warm with two controllable radiators. Additionally, daily housekeeping made the bed and cleaned the room efficiently. There was ample space with a desk, wardrobe, safe, and mini fridge for drinks. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. If I return to Iceland, it will be my first choice in the city.

(Radisson Blu 1919 Hotel) What a treat. We stayed here for 7 nights in January 2025. The customer service was first class, the room comfortable and it was right on the centre of all the action. The only negative was the third party breakfast provided, otherwise it would have received 5 stars. Great hotel for couples or family.

(Center Hotels Arnarhvoll) The location was very convenient yet quiet. We read some other locations may be noisy at night from night crowds. Almost all the tours picked us up right across the street. Views of the water and sky offered a sense of tranquility. The rooms were arranged where we almost never heard any of our neighbours. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean. The bed and linens were comfortable. We slept well every night. Breakfast was great - lots of variety, good quality ingredients and ample seating. We would stay here again.
